About Nina
Meet Nina! This sweet Shih Tzu came to the county shelter as a stray and pregnant. Sadly, no one came looking for her, so she found her way to our rescue. A week and a half later, she gave birth to six puppies, and to ensure she wouldn't have to go through that again, we've spayed her; there are already too many puppies out there! At just over two years old, Nina is a gentle and snuggly girl. She's sensitive, and while she can be a bit nervous and barky around strangers, her reactions are short-lived. Nina needs a home with a securely fenced backyard and would thrive with another small dog companion, possibly one of her puppies. Keep in mind, Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon. The first step in our process is completing our adoption application, which helps us make the best matches. We look forward to hearing from you!
