About Meatball
Meatball has had a rough start as an outdoor cat. He often struggled to find food and faced aggression from other cats and wildlife, leading to injuries. After being brought in for his safety, he received treatment, including a full dental extraction, which was no small task. At just three years old, he was clearly not cut out for life outside. Now in a home environment, Meatball is making strides. He enjoys relaxing in the living room with his human and fellow feline companions, although he still retreats under the bed during visits from new people. His love for food is evident—he'll eagerly accept churu treats, and they help with socialization. While he may be cautious about being petted, Meatball expresses his quirky personality by rolling over to showcase his big potbelly and sometimes falling asleep in a playful position. Meatball does have some quirks, like being prone to resource guarding and showing territorial behaviors towards other cats, particularly males from outdoor colonies. Ideally, he would thrive in a home where he’s the only cat or shares space with just one other feline companion. He enjoys catnip toys and appears happier every day. With all her medical needs addressed, Meatball is ready to find that special, understanding forever home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
