About Annie
Meet Annie. Annie is a delightful 2-year-old Poodle mix, weighing about 9 pounds and full of love. After a tough start, during which she lost her owner, she spent three weeks feeling frightened and alone before being rescued. This history makes her a bit shy around new faces, but once she warms up, her lovely personality shines through. She adores cuddling, staying close to her people, and showering them with kisses. Playful and energetic, Annie enjoys frolicking with the other dogs in her foster home, especially with her favorite Kong toys. She's gentle and gets along well with other dogs. Annie is crate trained, nearly potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She responds well to verbal corrections and knows how to “stay.” However, her past has made her a bit skittish around loud noises, and she may need a secure, fenced yard to thrive. Owners should be mindful about doors and gates since she can slip through small openings if startled. A patient family with a friendly dog would be ideal for Annie. While her compatibility with cats and children is uncertain, she’ll need thoughtful introductions if they're part of the household. This sweet girl is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Annie's adoption fee is $350. Ready to make a difference in Annie's life?
