About Cesar

Cesar is a playful, big-hearted boy who has overcome a rough start as a stray. You’d never know about his past from the joy he brings every day. A Great Pyrenees mix, his current roles include tug-of-war champion, full-time wrestler with his foster siblings, and certified goofball. This big puppy's favorite activity is playing, especially tug-of-war. He thrives with a family that appreciates his energetic nature and continues to offer him positive outlets for his playful spirit. Cesar is currently fostered with other dogs and gets along well with them. It's important for his future family to keep up his socialization as he grows, exposing him to new friends, environments, and experiences. Cesar hasn't been tested with cats, so a feline-free home is best for him. He also isn’t suited for livestock work, preferring to be a devoted family companion instead. The good news is he’s already crate trained and walks well on a leash. He needs structure, routine, and a family eager to help him continue learning. Despite his journey, his spirit remains bright and fun. Cesar is looking for his forever family to cherish him, and he's ready to spread happiness wherever he goes. He’s currently in Houston, Texas, and ready for adoption across the country. His $600 adoption fee includes transport to his new home. Think Cesar could be your next best friend? Apply today!
