While neighborhood cats catch his eye, he only observes rather than chases them. He thrives on playtime, especially games of tug, and enjoys mental stimulation. Though he's adapting well, Onyx is still working on his manners. His excitement sometimes leads to jumping up on people, and he’s shown occasional resource guarding with food and toys.
