Meet Tera! This sweet 9-year-old Rat Terrier has a heartwarming story. We first helped her previous owner, who was homeless, get her necessary vet care so he could find shelter during the cold. Sadly, after his passing, Tera ended up in animal control before coming back to us. Originally, she was fearful and struggled to trust, but with patience and love, she's transformed into a friendly companion who enjoys being held and loved. Tera is just under 13 lbs and is looking for a patient adopter who understands her past. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys outdoor time. Because she may not have been in a stable home setting, we can't guarantee she's house trained, but her loving nature shines through. Tera is altered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready for a calm, nurturing home where she can feel secure and cherished. She's ready for her second chance at happiness!
