Meet Corey! This sweet 4-year-old Miniature Poodle weighs in at 16 pounds and is a true little buddy. Wherever you go, Corey will likely be right beside you. His cuddly nature makes him a perfect companion, and once he knows you, he’ll follow you around the house, eager to keep you company. Corey loves to play, especially with his toys and a good game of ball. A securely fenced yard is his playground. He can zoom around with surprising speed, but he’s also quite content to entertain himself with a toy. Coming out of his shell, Corey can be shy at first, but with a gentle, calm approach, he warms up quickly. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle him, but he switches from timid to trustful in no time. This clever little guy is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He understands commands like "walk" and "treat," and is learning to sit. Corey gets along with cats, though he doesn't show much interest in them, and he prefers smaller, calmer dogs. He's been good with kids aged 9-15, and while younger children haven’t been tested, he may do well with respectful ones.
