Meet Iris! This charming 3-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix weighs around 55 lbs and is eager to find a forever family that will love her as much as we do. Iris is full of energy and joy, with a personality that shines bright. Whether she’s going for car rides, taking long walks, or snuggling up next to you at night, she wants to be involved in every part of your life. With a strong loyalty and an alert nature, she makes an excellent watchdog while bringing her playful side to every encounter. Iris is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. She loves playing fetch and enjoys discovering new sights and smells during her walks. Her ideal adopter will appreciate her vibrant spirit and love for fun. Though she can be shy at first, Iris becomes an affectionate companion once she trusts her humans. She enjoys lots of cuddles, nuzzles, and, of course, being told she’s a “good girl.” Iris has interacted well with other dogs, but she’s best suited to homes where she can be fed separately from other pets, as she likes to establish her boundaries. Her dream home would have a large yard for her to explore, lots of activity, and a family that understands her need for trust and structure.
