Meet Joanie, a sweet and soulful 8–10-month-old shepherd/hound mix with a heart full of love and so much potential. She can be a little shy at first with new people and dogs, but once she warms up—which doesn’t take long—she’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. Joanie is currently attending doggy daycare to build her confidence, and she’s thriving! Her playful side shines through more every day, especially when she’s got her favorite toys or is cuddling up with someone she trusts. Joanie is moderately active and would do well with a patient, experienced owner who can continue helping her build confidence through positive training and consistent structure. She’s eager to learn, loves to be loved, and is ready to grow into the amazing companion she’s meant to be. Joanie is fully vaccinated, spayed, and heartworm negative. She’s available for adoption both locally and out of state—transport can be arranged to approved adopters through our rescue network.
