About Cooper

Meet Cooper, a lively and adventurous Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix. Rescued alongside his sister from a roadside ditch in Oklahoma, he's now thriving in foster care between Cedar Rapids and Waterloo, Iowa, eager to find his forever home. Cooper's playful nature shines through as he enjoys treats, running, and exploring. He’s already house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. While Cooper is still mastering basic commands, he's at a perfect stage for training with some positive reinforcement. He gets along with dogs, cats, and children but can be a bit jumpy when he’s excited, so continued socialization will help him blossom into a well-rounded companion. Cooper's ideal family will be active and ready to invest time in his training and development. He's currently available for adoption under a neuter contract for a fee of $500, with $100 refunded upon proof of neuter. Vaccinations are up to date, and he’s microchipped. If you believe you're the right match for Cooper, please fill out the adoption application. Thank you for considering bringing this joyful pup into your life!
