About Jimmy
Meet Jimmy, a charming and affectionate seven-year-old pup who's as majestic as his name suggests. This sweet boy narrowly escaped euthanasia, having been surrendered through no fault of his own. His previous family, who loved him dearly, had to make the hard choice to rehome him due to personal circumstances. Now, Jimmy is in search of his forever home, where he can be someone's best friend and a devoted companion. Jimmy strikes the perfect balance between playful and relaxed. He's housebroken, crate trained, and knows all his basic commands, including “sit,” “stay,” “wait,” and “leave it.” With great leash manners, he walks at a calm pace, occasionally pulling when something exciting, like a stray cat, catches his eye. He's eager to please and responds well to gentle redirection. Despite a tough past—having been attacked by two dogs before arriving at the shelter—Jimmy has been getting along wonderfully with the dogs he has met in his foster home. A meet and greet is essential if you have another dog to ensure compatibility. He enjoys playing with toys and while he loves older kids, he may not be suitable for younger ones.
