About Lizzie
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Lizzie is a special, sweet, and shy girl longing for a home where she can feel truly safe and secure. At just 3 years old, this lovely boxer/American bulldog mix has overcome a lot—she spent months running loose near a busy road, wary of people and relying on her wits to survive. Thanks to patient rescuers, she was trapped safely and blossomed into a cuddly companion, immediately bonding with her savior. Naturally timid, Lizzie may army crawl up to new people—especially men—until she feels comfortable, but once she bonds, you’ll discover her happy, goofy, and playful boxer spirit. Lizzie absolutely adores other dogs, lighting up with wags when she meets them, and she truly flourishes in a home with another friendly canine. Because she’s easily startled and a flight risk, she needs to always be securely leashed and requires patient introductions to new people and environments. Lizzie weighs 63 lbs, is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for a loving, understanding adopter willing to go slow and help her bloom. You can meet Lizzie by appointment with an approved application—don’t forget to bring tasty treats and a pup pal so you can see her sweet, silly side shine. Start your journey together! Apply now.
