About Sasha
Sasha is a remarkable survivor ready to find her place in a loving home. Rescued from the streets of San Francisco's Dogpatch neighborhood, Sasha endured a tough time, battling a flea allergy that left her fur patchy. Thankfully, a caring Good Samaritan found her and brought her to SFACC, where despite having a microchip, no one came to claim her. After some challenging moments, Sasha faced a deadline at the shelter, but her story took a turn when a foster-to-adopt home stepped up, allowing her to join the Give Me Shelter rescue. This sweet, 8-year-old Domestic Long Hair Torbie is the ultimate lap cat. She adores curling up with her people, soaking in affection, and gently giving headbutts to ask for more pets. Sasha loves face rubs and needs your comforting voice to feel truly at home—she chats back, especially during meal prep! Though she’s a bit older, Sasha is playful, enjoying string toys and catnip antics. She’s food motivated, relishes her treats, and doesn’t let anything slow her down after a recent dental procedure. Sasha is seeking a home where she can be the only pet, filling your life with endless cuddles and gentle conversations. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who craves your company, Sasha could be your perfect match. Each day she spends with you will be filled with love and gratitude.
