About Bolt
Meet Bolt! This handsome American Bully is 2 years old and weighs 65 lbs—don’t let his tough appearance fool you. Underneath that blocky head and muscular build lies one of the biggest love bugs you’ll encounter. Bolt came to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him, and it took some time for him to adjust to his new surroundings. Initially, he was overwhelmed by the new sights and sounds, but once he felt secure, his true personality shined through. This sweet boy adores hugs and offers the softest kisses. Lean down, and he’ll likely lean back into you, soaking up affection like a champ. Bolt enjoys the company of other dogs and even cats, and with the right introductions, he can do well with kids too. What Bolt needs is a patient family who understands that he may take time to warm up to new people and experiences. Though he can initially feel nervous around strangers, he’s not aggressive—just a bit anxious. He gives a gentle grumble to indicate he needs space. With your kindness and encouragement, he’ll flourish and deepen his trust. Bolt is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. His adoption fee is $100, and he’s ready to find a forever home where he can feel truly safe. If you’re ready to offer him patience and love, submit your application to meet this wonderful boy!
