Meet Dolly! This sweet little girl is around 9–10 months old and weighs approximately 18 pounds. She's a Rat Terrier mix with a hint of Dachshund, which gives her that adorable long body. With her mostly white coat and charming brown markings, Dolly is truly a beauty. Dolly loves being around her people and enjoys cuddling on laps, getting belly rubs, or snuggling up for a nap. She comfortably relaxes in her dog bed or crate and does well alone, making her a good companion for any household. One of her cute quirks is her penchant for gathering toys, proudly bringing them into her bed. She also loves chewing on appropriate items and, like any young pup, needs her space puppy-proofed to keep tempting objects out of reach. Dolly has a gentle nature and a soft mouth when taking treats. She’s not food aggressive and is submissive with other dogs, having done wonderfully with her foster's older dog. She can be a bit timid meeting new dogs during walks, but she is never aggressive and would benefit from having a friendly canine companion to help build her confidence. While Dolly hasn’t been around cats and hasn't lived with children, her gentle demeanor suggests she could adapt well to a family with respectful children. She is still learning house training but seems to be a quick learner eager to make progress. Her energy level is moderate, blending playfulness with cuddly moments. Dolly needs a patient family who will support her as she continues to build confidence in new situations. Once settled, her sweet personality truly shines.
