Skylar is a 5-year-old spayed female Shih Tzu weighing about 12 lbs. After a rough start, Almost Home rescued her, and now she's living her best life, full of happiness and ready to be spoiled. She's housebroken and hypoallergenic, making her a great companion for those who want a low-shedding dog. Skylar adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs, though she relishes the one-on-one attention during cuddle time. While she likes cats, her playful nature can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for them. Due to her breed, Skylar isn’t a fan of stairs and prefers to avoid jumping on and off furniture. She enjoys running around the yard more than long walks, especially when transported in a stroller, which her foster is currently working on. Due to her small size, Skylar would do best in a home without young children. Skylar is bursting with personality and love, just waiting for her new family to come along.
