About Rayo

Meet Rayo! Rayo is a big, cuddly grey and white male cat around 3 years old. He’s been looking for his forever home for over 2 years, patiently waiting for his chance. Although Rayo tested positive for FIV, this doesn’t pose a risk to humans and typically doesn’t shorten cats' lives. This gentle giant is neutered and fully vaccinated. You can usually find Rayo lounging on one of his favorite spots, eagerly waiting for some belly rubs. He adores being petted and loves cuddling with our volunteers. Social and sweet, Rayo gets along well with other cats, especially his friend Pepper. He’d thrive in a home with other feline companions or as the solo star, as long as he receives ample love and attention to help him adjust. If you’re interested in meeting Rayo or learning more about adopting or fostering him, please get in touch by emailing start2nj@yahoo.com or calling Jodi at (201) 925-9514.
