Onyx has become the ultimate teacher in all good things come to those who wait. She has shown us what it means to be patient as we've given her the space to come into her own as a cat who only knew of the life outdoors to a lady who rules the house. A once skittish cat is now a cat who loves to spend time around her primary human demanding for attention in the form of food or pets when she's not sleeping. If she wants something she will let it be known. If she's happy she will also let it be known. Food and pets will be rewarded with relentless purring and many slow blinks. Onyx doesn't let her past or her age stop her from showing off youthful energy by getting into hijinx and tearing through the house during her zoomies. Yelling into the void to demand attention and sitting while judgmentally staring at you from a distance to remind you who's boss are all a part of her charm.
