About Lewis HTX
Meet Lewis β€οΈ Sweet little Lewis is just 5 months old, but this Great Pyrenees puppy has already faced more adversity than any puppy should. He and his brother were found wandering the streets of Montgomery, TX, but thankfully, a caring person intervened and got them to safety. Now both pups are safe with Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue, where they can finally start their journey towards happy lives. Lewis is currently dealing with a significant orthopedic challenge. He has been diagnosed with a severe lateral luxating patella in his right rear leg, impacting his walking ability. Given his young age, this is especially worrisome as his bones are still developing. He will require further evaluation, including X-rays and an orthopedic consultation, to determine the best treatment plan. Severe cases may need surgical intervention to realign and stabilize his knee. Despite these challenges, Lewis is still just a BABY who deserves to play and explore. He wants nothing more than to run around the yard, chase toys, and enjoy all the joy life has to offer. We're focused on getting him the medical care he needs while showering him with love.
