About Hollis DFW
Meet Hollis DFW. Like many great legends, Hollis got his name from the street corner he once called home. Thankfully, those days are behind him as he now embarks on a new journey. At around 18 months to 2 years old, Hollis may seem like he’s experienced a lifetime of adventure, but we believe his best chapters are yet to unfold. Weighing in at approximately 87 pounds, he's a big dog with a resilient spirit. Hollis is getting along well with other dogs and has come to appreciate the comforts of a crate, regular meals, and the warmth of kind humans. He is neutered and currently undergoing heartworm treatment. He is also receiving veterinary care for a bullet lodged in his leg, which has caused some limping. Despite these challenges, Hollis remains gentle, cooperative, and eager to embrace a brighter future. As he focuses on healing and gaining strength, he's learning that he never has to fend for himself again. Stay tuned for updates on Hollis DFW as he begins his new chapter—one that we hope will lead him to the forever home he truly deserves. Ready to make a difference? Apply today!
