Meet Mae, a sweet dog who was found abandoned on the streets of Southern Ohio. Although her past remains a mystery, it's clear that she was once a beloved pet. Mae is incredibly laid back, and her foster mom can’t say enough good things about her. True to her nature, Mae enjoys emptying the toy box, collecting toys in her bed, and moving dog beds to keep herself occupied. She loves being around her people and often follows her foster mom from room to room. Mae gets along famously with dogs, cats, and children, making her an ideal companion for families. While she’s still working on her potty training, she enjoys spending time outdoors basking in the sun. Mae is about 6-7 years old, weighs 16 lbs, and has curly fur with some unique front legs that allow her to navigate stairs—occasionally needing a little help with the higher ones. A potential mix of Shih Tzu and Poodle, Mae is a great catch! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
