About Esmearr
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Esmearr—a precious Shih Tzu who spent much of her life as a puppy mill momma and is just now discovering what it means to truly be loved. Esmearr is experiencing the joys of comfort, kindness, and everyday happiness for the first time, slowly blossoming in a world that is finally treating her gently. She is a calm, low-energy companion who delights in cozy naps, warm blankets, and the simple pleasure of a tasty treat or a gentle belly rub. Esmearr rides well in the car, settles into her crate easily, and is warming up to outdoor adventures, especially when supported by other friendly dogs. A tranquil home with a steady routine will help her continue to grow. Esmearr is still learning that human touch can mean kindness and patience; for this reason, she would do best in a quieter, adult home with someone experienced with shy, mill-survivor dogs. She finds comfort in calm canine company but gets startled by loud noises and needs a gentle, steady environment. While she is able to spend some time alone, a part-time or relaxed schedule would let her truly thrive. Esmearr is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines—and is waiting in the Cleveland area for her forever family to help make all her tomorrows brighter. Think you are the one?
