Gigi is a delightful 1-year and 4-month-old female Pointer/Lab mix with a medium build. She has a short coat in a striking combination of black and white. She is house trained and has been spayed, with vaccinations up to date. Gigi is located in Kentwood, MI, and while her weight is currently not listed, she is on a path to gaining a healthy weight after a rough start in life.

About Gigi

Meet Gigi. This resilient girl came to us in rough shape, covered in fleas, scars, and fresh wounds. At just about 1 year and 4 months old, she had a tough start but still shows a sweet side, getting excited to see people despite her past. We learned from her vet appointment that Gigi is not pregnant, but unfortunately, she’s heartworm positive. The good news is she’s now in safe hands. Our vet is taking care of her wounds and will ensure she receives the proper nutrition to gain her strength back. The entire cost of her heartworm treatment will be covered by the rescue. Gigi is a Pointer/Lab mix weighing around 43 lbs, sporting adorable speckled socks. While she’s still pretty scared and adjusting, she needs a patient adopter who can help her understand that people can be kind. We're still learning about her compatibility with other animals, but her journey to recovery has just begun.
