About Boomer and Sweetpea
Meet Boomer and Sweet Pea, a resilient pair bound by an unbreakable love. They survived a devastating house fire in May, and their miraculous recovery speaks volumes about their strength. While they have distinct personalities—Sweet Pea full of energy and Boomer more laid-back—they are inseparable and share a special bond. Boomer, our brave little guy, lives with cerebellar hypoplasia, often called 'wobbly kitten syndrome.' Despite his challenges, his determination shines through. He enjoys his independence but appreciates a helping hand to navigate his surroundings and can often be found peacefully napping. On the other hand, Sweet Pea is the wild child, overflowing with energy. She loves to play, chase wand toys, and zoom around. When she’s ready for a break, she seeks out Boomer for cuddles. Boomer also faces some health issues related to his lungs, which require occasional medication. The veterinary team is currently developing a long-term medical plan, and until it's finalized, they are being fostered. They’re looking for a foster-to-adopt family eager to shower them with love and playtime. These two incredible survivors are ready for their next chapter, filled with warmth, safety, and adventures. They deserve a forever home where they can thrive together. Boomer and Sweet Pea are waiting for someone like you to embrace them fully. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
