About Turtle

Meet Turtle, the newest resident of our shelter! This young cowgirl is ready to bring affection and joy to her forever home. While we’re still getting to know her, one thing is certain: she’s going to make a fantastic companion. Turtle has tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). This isn’t a type of cancer, but a virus that may lead to a weaker immune system and a shorter lifespan. Thankfully, "FeLVies" are often just like any other cat, enjoying life to the fullest. Turtle would thrive best in a household with other FeLV+ cats, but she gets along fine with dogs and other pets. We offer support and guidance on her care, so please reach out with any questions. All cats at Austin Pets Alive! are fully vetted, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines, plus they come with a microchip. Turtle is looking for someone special to start her next adventure with!
