About Prissy LaRue

Meet Prissy LaRue, a thoughtful and gentle soul who resembles Bambi at the edge of the woods. This young lady is cautious yet curious about the world around her, taking her time to warm up to new faces and situations. But don’t mistake her caution for fragility; once Prissy feels safe, her playful and affectionate nature shines through. She adores being petted and loves to curl up with her human on the couch, sharing kisses and cuddles like a seasoned companion. Prissy needs a serene environment during her early days, where she can adjust without feeling overwhelmed. Initially, her trust is carefully placed, and it’s crucial to let her exhale before expecting her to fully engage or explore her new surroundings. While she’s been noted as needing careful introductions to other dogs, she enjoys playful time with Twix—a canine friend of similar size—showing she can thrive in the right company. Though she hasn’t been tested with children, her gentle demeanor suggests she might be well-suited for respectful kids. Her experience in a multi-dog environment has given her the ability to share space and resources positively, though she will benefit from a secure and supervised home as she adjusts. Prissy is not yet fully house-trained but is learning quickly and responds well to routine. With her vaccinations up to date, being spayed, and her heartworm status negative, she's ready to step into her new life with someone patient. If you think you can provide a loving home for her, expect lots of kisses in return! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
