About Izzy

Meet Gran, a 7-year-old large mixed breed Terrier with a heart full of love. She has endured challenges in her life, likely spending many years outdoors before being rescued from neglect. Gran was found in an overcrowded shelter with her puppies, who have since found homes. Now, it's her turn to experience a loving family. Gran embodies sweetness and a calm demeanor, thriving on cuddles and affection. Though she is heartworm positive, the rescue will cover her treatment, so all she needs is a patient and caring family to help her heal. This gentle girl is house trained and has shown that she gets along well with dogs. While we’re still learning how she interacts with children and cats, her easygoing nature suggests she'll adapt well to her new home. Gran deserves to know what it feels like to be cherished.
