About Benedict

Benedict is an 11-week-old puppy from Athena’s breakfast litter, the biggest in the bunch at around 12 pounds! He’s expected to grow into a medium-sized dog but has the same playful spirit as his siblings. This confident pup greets life head-on, eager to meet new people or investigate anything that catches his eye. He thrives on playtime, whether wrestling with siblings or chasing after toys in the yard. Once he’s worn out, he loves to settle down with the people he adores for some affection and a good nap. With a mix of breeds in his genetic background—like American Pit Bull Terrier and Shih Tzu—Benedict carries traits from a whole collection of wonderful dogs. His playful nature makes him a delightful companion, but he’ll need a family who understands the patience and training puppies require. A securely fenced yard is essential for his safety and fun. Benedict has already been neutered, microchipped, and received his first two distemper/parvo vaccines. His new family will need to provide his final vaccines when he reaches 16 weeks. If you're ready to welcome a playful, confident puppy like Benedict into your home, he’s waiting for you. Adopters must live within a two-hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA and homes must be indoors only. Adoption Fee: $300. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
