About Winnie
Meet Winnie! This charming 1-year-old Corgi/German Shepherd mix weighs about 30 pounds and embodies the classic Corgi spirit—smart, confident, playful, and just a touch bossy. She thrives on companionship and will keep you entertained with her quirky, mischievous antics. Winnie is great with people and enjoys the company of children. However, her herding instincts might kick in, leading her to nip at ankles when kids run. For this reason, a home with older children would suit her best. She also loves to play with other dogs, preferring a friendly, more submissive companion. Winnie can even be perfectly content as an only dog. Although she has lived with cats before and does get along with them, she tends to chase them and squirrels outdoors, so supervision is key. Winnie is both crate trained and house trained, though she may need some training to signal when she needs to go out now that she’s without a doggie door. This energetic girl loves car rides and is always eager for adventures. Clever and curious, she has a playful habit of stealing socks and toys, so be ready to keep a close eye on her! Winnie is already spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and microchipped. A happy and affectionate companion, she’s eager to find an active family that can provide the exercise, structure, and love she craves.
