She’s a smart girl, already mastering commands like sit and paw, which makes training a breeze, especially since she's very food motivated. With a sweet and playful spirit, she thrives on attention from both people and other dogs. Once her puppy energy has been spent wrestling with her furry foster siblings, there’s nothing she loves more than cuddling up close. At 1.5 years old and weighing in at 67 pounds, Cookie is likely a mix of Labrador Retriever and Doberman Pinscher, sporting soulful brown and black tones with hints of chestnut. Although her enthusiasm is adorable, it can be a bit overwhelming, so she may need guidance, particularly around smaller children and cats. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for her, allowing her the freedom she needs to run and play. She also enjoys having a dog sibling for companionship. Having survived three days alone during flooding in the Rio Grande Valley, Cookie is a true survivor. Now, she's looking for her forever home where she can receive all the love she deserves. Cookie is fully potty trained and crate trained, and while she has limited experience on a leash, her loving nature and eagerness to please make her a quick learner.
