About Pepper

Meet Pepper, a sweet female dog in need of a new home due to her owner’s difficult situation. At around 9 years old and weighing 35 pounds, she brings a unique spirit to those around her. Originally rescued from Kuwait, she’s a Middle Eastern village dog with a heart of gold. Pepper loves to smile and has a playful side, though she can be a bit cautious around men, particularly if they wear sunglasses or hats. She enjoys the company of children and gets along well with most dogs, though a meet and greet is always a good idea before fostering or adopting her. Having experienced some unsettling noises like gunshots and fireworks, she sometimes feels scared. With some patience and care, she responds wonderfully to love and comfort. If you think you can offer her the home she deserves, consider fostering or adopting. Your new companion is just a click away.
