Meet Nacho, our little Macho Man. Weighing in at just 7 pounds, this charming Chihuahua has a personality that far exceeds his size. Rescued as a stray at around 1 to 2 years old, he’s searching for a loving home where he can truly shine. Nacho can initially be a bit cautious, but once he finds his comfort zone and you learn his delightful quirks, you’ll see what a remarkable companion he is. A social little guy, Nacho absolutely adores other dogs and is playful, even with pups. He has a serious love for food, so a slow feeder is essential to keep his gobbling tendencies in check. He enjoys being held but prefers a gentle approach and pays you back with affectionate face cleaning once secure in your arms. At night, he loves to cuddle up close, often resting his head on his foster mom’s shoulder under the covers. Sometimes he may emit a small growl if you move, but it’s all in good fun—there’s no aggression here, just his quirky personality shining through. This little ball of sunshine is still working on house training and will use pads, although he might have occasional accidents. He’s not fond of walks on a leash due to his fear of outside noises and traffic, so a secure fenced yard is a must. Due to his petite size, we recommend an all-adult home or older, respectful kids. Nacho needs a patient human who will help him gain trust, and in return, he’ll be a loving and playful companion who brings joy to every day.
