About Skippy

Meet Skippy! This extraordinary cat truly embodies resilience and sweetness. Skippy arrived at the rescue after a compassionate neighbor noticed him limping and in need of urgent care. He faced severe injuries, including bite wounds and a broken toe, along with significant malnourishment. It took time for him to rebuild his trust in people, but once he did, he blossomed into one of the most affectionate cats you'll ever meet. His challenging journey didn’t stop there. Skippy survived a devastating house fire that claimed many lives, battling through smoke inhalation effects to emerge stronger than ever. Today, he is a thriving, joyful cat eager to find his forever home. Skippy is a lap cat who craves attention and cuddles. With a nonstop purr and the occasional drool when he's extra happy, he loves to snuggle up with his humans. He gets along well with gentle cats and is great with kids, but he would prefer a dog-free environment due to his past traumas. After everything he has endured, Skippy deserves a life brimming with safety, love, and affection. Could you be the one to give him that?
