About Chika

Chika is a Lab/American Staffordshire Mix weighing around 44 lbs and is about 1 year old. Originally hailing from Texas, she's now thriving in her foster home in Connecticut. Chika has faced her share of challenges. Rescued as a tiny puppy, she was found in the middle of the road, covered in fleas and ticks, and suffering from a severe case of mange. Thanks to a dedicated volunteer, she received the care she needed and was adopted by a loving family. Unfortunately, due to recent hardships, her previous adopter had to leave Chika and she's now in search of a new home. Though a little shy initially, Chika quickly becomes a devoted friend once she feels at ease. She enjoys playing outside and running around, and she's fond of other dogs, frequenting the dog park twice a week. Chika would thrive in a home with another dog to keep her company, and she adores biscuits as a treat. She is not available for adoption in Massachusetts.
