These two senior girls are currently in Chula Vista, CA, and share a bond that’s as steady as the tide. They are open to loving homes anywhere in the U.S. Eevee, a petite golden girl weighing about 13 pounds, is confident, friendly, and wonderfully expressive. She knows commands like sit, turn around, up, and down, and comes when called. As Ellie's self-appointed guardian, she keeps a watchful eye on her best friend and barks if energetic dogs rush in too quickly. With gentle reassurance, she thrives and loves being close to her humans. Eevee does have a collapsed trachea and some sensitive skin, requiring thoughtful care and dental chews. Ellie, a graceful 33-pound black beauty possibly with hound traits, is softer in spirit and takes a little extra time to warm up. Once she trusts you, she becomes deeply affectionate and enjoys leaning in for connection. She loves long sniff-filled walks, beach outings, and relaxing car rides, especially when Eevee is by her side. Ellie’s eyes are growing cloudy with age, and she may have some hearing decline, but she navigates her world with calm resilience. She does best in a peaceful environment without raised voices and shares meals and cozy afternoons with Eevee. Both girls are spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
