About Starfruit
Starfruit is a spirited one-year-old Kelpie/Aussie mix weighing 23 lbs. She’s spayed and brimming with energy, needing an adopter who can provide plenty of structure, exercise, and mental stimulation. Starfruit will thrive with around 90 minutes of activity daily, alongside potty breaks and engaging games to keep her mind sharp. Though she’s new to the rescue and doesn’t have a full history in city living, most dogs adjust well given time. She’s social with other dogs—although we’re still assessing the details—and while she’s likely to get along with cats, a bit of caution is advised during introductions. Respectful kids aged 8 and up would be a good fit, but adult supervision is a must. Starfruit is healthy and has all her vaccinations up to date: DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. She's also microchipped and has been treated for worms upon arriving. As a loving companion in need of an active home, Starfruit is eligible for the foster-to-adopt program. What are you waiting for?
