About Parsnip
Parsnip is a 9-week-old male Beagle and Australian Cattle Dog mix, currently tipping the scales at 11 lbs. He's expected to grow to around 45 lbs. This little guy is a lively puppy, looking for an adopter who can commit to a structured environment filled with lots of daily exercise and mental challenges. He'll need at least 90 minutes of activity each morning along with potty break walks and brain games throughout the day. Parsnip is social and enjoys the company of other dogs, and he can learn how to interact well with them with the right guidance. He also gets along with cats and can become good friends with them. However, because he is still a puppy, he can be a bit mouthy during play and requires supervision around younger children to prevent any accidental nibbles or knocks. He’s currently working on his potty training and is house trained. While he is not yet leash trained, his new owner will need to invest time in teaching him. This pup is part of our foster-to-adopt program—if you think Parsnip could be the right match for you, don't hesitate to reach out! Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
