Meet Ginger, a delightful three-year-old Shih Tzu mix weighing 8.5 pounds. She entered the rescue after her owner passed away, and her sister Coco Chanel has been by her side ever since. They were initially adopted together but returned when their previous owner felt overwhelmed by their playful antics. However, Ginger has shown nothing but affection and joy since arriving at Once Upon A Prayer Pet Rescue. Though she can be a little talkative in her kennel, once she's out, her sweet and loving nature shines through. Ginger thrives on human interaction. She prefers snuggling in laps over chasing toys and brings a lively spirit to any activity. Outgoing and affectionate, she’s happiest when surrounded by her favorite people. Ginger illustrates how the right environment can bring out the best in a dog. She’s eager to leave her past behind and find a home filled with love and cuddles.
