Meet Ginger, a charming 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix weighing in at 8.5 pounds. She joined the rescue after her owner passed away, leaving her and her sister, Coco Chanel, in need of a new home. Though they were adopted together at first, they were later returned due to a misunderstanding about their behavior. Contrary to that experience, Ginger has proven to be an affectionate and engaging companion since coming to Once Upon A Prayer Pet Rescue. While she may express herself a bit in her kennel, she transforms into a sweet, happy girl when it’s playtime. Ginger is the confident and outgoing sister, always ready for some lap time and cuddles. Forget the toys; her favorite pastime is getting attention from her humans. This lovely little lady is just looking for a warm environment where she can truly thrive and share her love with someone special. Ginger's ideal home would include plenty of cuddles and attention.
