About Summer

Summer is a sweet seven-year-old mixed breed dog whose world was turned upside down when her family lost their home. After being dropped off at a shelter that terrified her, she faced a difficult time. Thankfully, Miracle Lane Farm & Sanctuary stepped in to rescue her and bring her to a loving foster home. Now, settled in and ready for her new adventure, she’s looking for a forever family. She does great with older kids and cats, but prefers to be the only dog to receive your love and attention. Summer enjoys the company of humans and loves her cheese treats; she’s eager to show off her tricks for a tasty reward. While she can sleep in her crate, she’d much rather snuggle up beside you. Summer enjoys walks of any length and playing with rope toys, though she’s ready to curl up for a nap afterwards. She is well-mannered, fully potty trained, and doesn’t bark at unusual noises or strangers. While she gets sad when left alone, her foster is helping her cope with that fear.
