Rio is a friendly, happy girl, offering an ideal mix of independence and playfulness. She enjoys zooming around but also loves settling down next to her people for some quality time. This gentle girl is laid-back and adaptable. Currently undergoing treatment for a skin infection, Rio handles her medicated baths like a champ. She knows how to “sit” on command and loves showing off her skills. Rio is great with children aged 8 and older and could thrive with another dog, especially a submissive or independent companion. With the right introductions, she might even get along with a dog-savvy cat. Rio is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program. She'll head home with her future family while she waits for her scheduled spay procedure. This way, she can swap her kennel for a cozy home and plenty of love.
