Meet Lola, a beautiful 6-year-old Black Labrador Retriever searching for her forever home. This sweet girl is timid and scared in new situations, but she has so much love to give once she warms up to you. Lola thrives in calm, relaxed environments and would do best with older, respectful children who can appreciate her need for patience and space. Lola is in good health and gets along wonderfully with other dogs; however, a fenced yard is essential as she builds confidence on a leash. She won't thrive in a busy household but instead seeks a peaceful sanctuary where she can gradually learn to trust and feel safe. Picture the day when Lola recognizes she is home, the moment she starts to show her gentle personality. She's not the type to rush up to you immediately, but with your kindness and consistency, she could become your loyal companion who follows you from room to room. Lola is ready to find someone who believes in her and will provide her with the love she truly deserves. If you think you can offer this sweet girl the patience and nurturing she needs, Lola might just be the best friend you've been waiting for. All potential adopters will need to travel to Lancaster, PA for a meet and greet!
