About Tundra

Meet Tundra! Tundra is a striking blue-eyed Husky mix, estimated to be around 10 to 11 months old. She came to us as a stray and is so eager to find her forever home. This medium-sized pup brings energy and enthusiasm wherever she goes, swiftly zooming around the play yard and playing with all sorts of toys. Tundra has a knack for entertaining herself, tossing her stuffies in the air and catching them like a pro. While she enjoys spending time with her human friends, this playful girl also appreciates her independence, often taking her time to explore during walks. New owners should prepare for some training—she's still a puppy and will need guidance with potty training and managing typical puppy behaviors. With the right support, she can grow into a wonderful companion. Tundra can likely coexist with another dog and may thrive with a playful or submissive canine buddy. A meet-and-greet at the shelter will help determine compatibility. She’s also open to living with a dog-savvy cat, given proper introductions. Tundra does best in a home with teens aged 16 and older who understand her active nature. Available through our Foster-to-Adopt program, Tundra can head home with you while waiting for her spay procedure and finalize her adoption after her surgery. This way, she can trade her kennel for a warm home, engaging playtime, and the love she’s been yearning for. Life with Tundra promises to be full of fun and adventure! Start your journey together!
