Meet Max, a large mixed breed dog with a heart of gold. At 7 years old, he’s got the charm and character to capture your heart. Max was adopted as a puppy and enjoyed a wonderful life until he sadly lost his owner. Now, he’s looking for a new home to spend his golden years surrounded by love. Max is neutered, vaccinated, and up-to-date with heartworm testing. He’s a laid-back guy who gets along well with other dogs after some proper introductions. While he might need time to adjust to living with cats, with kindness, he could adapt. Although he has never lived with kids, he’s open to the idea if introduced correctly. This sweet, chill boy misses the companionship of a home and is ready to find his forever family. Come meet Max Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM at the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter in Grayling, MI. He’s eager to find a place where he can share all his love. Ready to fall in love?
