After being rescued from Animal Control, this young adult is looking for someone to keep his clever mind busy and shower him with love. He enjoys enrichment activities like puzzles and snuffle mats, which give him a chance to use both his brain and nose. Baxter also loves stuffies, especially the squeaky ones. After a good play session, he can easily settle down and is content to entertain himself. Friendly and social, Baxter adores his people. A little baby talk goes a long way in getting his full attention! He knows "sit" and "come," but will benefit from continued training as he gets used to his new environment. Baxter may thrive in a home with dog-savvy kids, although he is dog selective, making proper introductions with resident dogs essential.
