Gilly is a loving 7-year-old Chihuahua mix who needs a patient home to thrive. He came to us after his owner went into hospice, and understandably, he's been feeling protective of those he loves. Gilly will require a home that truly understands Chihuahuas; he may need some time to adjust but rewards those who earn his trust with endless affection. Once he feels secure, you’ll discover he becomes quite the lap dog, ready to snuggle. Gilly isn't suitable for homes with children and will need a meet and greet with other dogs. Testing with cats may be possible. Despite his small size, he’s got a big heart. Gilly is neutered, vaccinated, and ready to find a new best friend. Think you could be the one for him?
