About Jack
Meet Jack! Jack is a sweet, affectionate 7-year-old terrier mix weighing around 15 pounds. This little guy gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes and would thrive in a home where he can have canine companions or be the center of attention. Jack truly loves his humans and is a devoted companion who enjoys being close to those he trusts. He has an old injury that causes some stiffness, particularly in the mornings, possibly needing long-term medication like carprofen for comfort. However, this does not hinder his joy for life! Jack loves to play, especially with squeaky stuffed toys, which are his absolute favorite. He is house trained when taken out regularly; however, if left for longer periods, he may need to wear a belly band. Jack dislikes being crated, but he has done wonderfully left uncrated and unsupervised in his foster home without being destructive. While he has not been tested with cats or children, Jack has proven to be a gentle and friendly boy in his foster home. He would be an especially wonderful companion for a senior or someone who spends a good deal of time at home looking for a small, loving dog to share their days. Jack may have a few quirks, but he offers immeasurable affection and companionship in return. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
