Willow is a delightful Border Collie/Papillon mix, found as a stray in Fort Worth. This charming girl weighs about 23 lbs and stands 17.5 inches tall, making her easy to snuggle and carry. She has a sweet temperament, initially cautious with strangers but quickly warms up to everyone. Willow loves to jump into your lap for extended snuggles and shower you with kisses. In her current foster home, Willow has been exposed to a variety of dogs and has made great progress in socializing. She now lives with 7-8 other dogs and enjoys their company, although a gradual introduction to any resident dogs would work best. Willow has a playful spirit, enjoys racing in the yard after squirrels, and is quite food motivated, loving toys like tennis balls and squeaky plushes. Though she has plenty of energy, she also enjoys cozying up on the couch for some TV time. Willow is crate-trained, doggy door trained, and her foster is impressed with her adaptability. A secure environment with a 6-foot privacy fence is recommended since she’s learned to scale shorter fences.
