About Penny

Meet Penny, a young Labrador Retriever in need of a loving home. While she appears less like a Lab than her brother Coco, her spirit shines brightly. Penny has been labeled as special needs due to her skittish nature, so she requires a patient family to help her overcome her past traumas. She’s been through a lot, starting from her days living under a thorn bush in a landfill, where her early experiences made her wary of noises and sudden movements. In the safety of her current environment, Penny has begun to settle and show her playful side, often instigating playtime with her brother. Although she’s not yet trained on a leash or in a crate, she is house trained and enjoys her moments of vocal expression when she feels comfortable. Penny would thrive best in a home where she can be the sole focus, with caring owners who can provide the understanding and patience she needs. Would you be the one to give her the forever home she deserves?
