About Teddy
Teddy is a 3-year-old fluffy French Bulldog, and this love bug thrives on affection. He craves constant companionship, whether it's from belly rubs or snuggles—your personal space won’t be a thing with Teddy around. This playful boy came to RescueLove after a conflict with a senior dog in his previous home made it unsafe for them both. Despite that, he's lived harmoniously with other dogs and cats, and he's great with kids. Teddy rides well in the car and walks perfectly beside you, his happiest moments are when he's belly-up, inviting you to give him some love. However, owning a Frenchie comes with responsibilities. Teddy has some medical needs that his future family must be prepared to manage. He has a chicken allergy and is currently on Zyrtec for treatment. He also has slight entropion in his lower left eyelid, requiring eye medication, and he needs to shed about 7–10 pounds, though surgery could be necessary down the line. Currently, he's being treated for an ear infection, and daily cleaning of his adorable face folds is essential to prevent irritation and infection. Teddy’s ideal family will provide ongoing veterinary care and help maintain his diet to ensure he stays at a healthy weight. We expect a lot of interest in this fluffy charmer, but potential adopters should know that Teddy won't go to just anyone.
